# GUIDE: Can I upload a file into Trainn?

## Can I upload a file into Trainn?

Yes — Trainn allows you to upload your video files and pdfs to enhance your training content. Whether you want to include supporting documents, or media files, uploading is simple. Also allows you to upload files and edit on top of it.

## What types of files can I upload into Trainn?

You can upload:

- .MP4

- .MOV

- PDFs

## Why upload files into Trainn?

- Host and manage your content.

- Store files in your content library, and reuse them across videos, guides, collections, knowledge hub, and courses.

## File size restrictions

- There are **file size restrictions** based on the plan you're in — Stater plan allows you to upload videos upto 25mb, in Plus plan you can upload files upto 100mb, in Grow plan you can upload files upto 250mb, in Business plan you can upload files upto 500mb.

## Steps to upload

1. Click on the "Create" button in the navigation bar.

2. Select "Upload Video" from the dropdown menu.

3. In the modal, enter a descriptive title for your video.

4. Choose a video file to upload by clicking on the file selection area.

5. In the modal, click the "Upload" button to upload your video.

## Steps to upload and edit

1. In the navigation bar, click the "Create" button.

2. From the dropdown menu, select "Create Video."

3. Choose "Upload Video & Edit" to proceed.

4. You'll be asked to make clips and use. Click the copy icon to copy the start and end time.

5. Check the "Preserve Audio Track" option.

6. Click the "Add Clips" button in the navigation bar.

7. You'll be taken to the Trainn editor to edit your video clips.
