**1. Is Trainn MCP available on my plan?**

Trainn MCP is currently available **for free on all Trainn plans**. You’ll need a compatible AI assistant and access to a Trainn workspace to connect it.

**2. Are there any additional costs?**

Trainn currently does not charge separately for MCP access. Your AI assistant’s subscription, usage limits, and any additional charges depend on your provider and plan. Some actions inside Trainn also use your existing feature allowances. For example, enhancing recordings with Trainn AI consumes your AI video quota.

**3. How many MCP calls can I make?**

Trainn MCP has a **rate limit of 120 requests per minute per IP address.** A call is a request your assistant makes to Trainn to retrieve information or perform an action. One prompt may involve multiple calls. This does not remove the usage limits of your AI assistant or the quotas for individual Trainn features.

**4. How many AI credits or tokens will a task consume?**

Usage varies depending on your AI assistant, the model, and the task. Refer to your AI provider’s usage and billing information to understand how consumption is measured and charged.

**5. Does MCP give me access to all Trainn features?**

MCP works with the features enabled in your Trainn workspace and the actions your role allows.

For example:

- Creating and managing courses requires Academy to be enabled.
- Enhancing recordings with Trainn AI uses your AI video quota.
- Your assistant needs the relevant connection permissions to read or create content.

**6. Who can connect Trainn MCP?**

**A Trainn workspace admin/owner must first enable MCP in Settings → Integrations → Trainn MCP**.

To connect an assistant, you need a Trainn account with access to that workspace. During setup, you select the workspace and approve the permissions for your connection. Your organization may also require an administrator to allow custom connections in your AI assistant.

Once the custom MCP is connected by the owner within the AI tool, any user can search for the MCP in the AI tools settings to connect it. 

**7. Can my AI assistant do anything beyond my existing Trainn permissions?**

No. Your existing Trainn role and the permissions you approve for the connection both apply.

For example, if your role does not allow you to publish a course in Trainn, your assistant cannot publish it through MCP.
