# GUIDE: Import Documents to Course

When adding a PDF to a course chapter, you can now search and select documents you've already uploaded to the Trainn Library — instead of re-uploading the same file every time.

**What changed**

Previously, every PDF had to be uploaded fresh each time you added it to a chapter. It wasn't stored anywhere reusable. Now, documents live in the Trainn Library and can be pulled into any course, any time.

**How to add a document to a chapter**

1. Go to **Courses → Chapters**

2. Add a new PDF document

3. In the document picker, search for an existing file from your Trainn Library — or upload a new one if it isn't there yet

> **Tip:** If you manage multiple courses that share the same resource (like a product guide or onboarding checklist), upload it once and reuse it across chapters without duplicating files.

## STEPS

1. **Click the plus icon next to "Introduction" in the course content section.**

2. **Select "Add PDF" from the dropdown menu.**

3. **In the modal, choose the "Get Trainn'd series" folder.**

4. **Ensure you are in the "Trainn Library" tab within the modal.**

5. **In the modal, click on "Your Library" to view available folders.**

6. **Select the "New Feature Updates" folder from the list in the modal.**

7. **Click on "Trainn Adoption Playbook" within the "New Feature Updates" folder.**

8. **In the modal, click "Select" next to "Trainn Adoption Playbook" to choose the document.**
