Academy and Course Analytics Guide

In this tutorial, learn how to get in-depth insights into your Academy and course analytics. Let's go!

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to the Analytics Tab

First, navigate to the Analytics tab in the Academy module in your dashboard.

2. Welcome to the Analytics Dashboard

Welcome to the Analytics dashboard. This is your go-to location for deep insights on your learners.

3. Set the Date Range

Here you can set the date range to track daily, monthly, or yearly Academy and course data.

4. Track Signups

Track the number of signups to your Academy over the date range you have set up.

5. Discover Top Companies

Discover which top companies have enrolled in your courses. Here you can find the list of all companies that are stored in your Academy database as learners.

6. Segregate Learner Profiles

Segregate your learner profiles based on:

  • Unique active learners
  • Course completions
  • Number of certificates issued

7. Gain Insights on Enrollments

Gain insights on the number of learners who have enrolled with your courses.

8. Access Individual Course Data

Access data on your individual courses here. Get data on:

  • Number of enrollments in each course
  • Engagement time
  • Course completions
  • Number of certificates issued through each course

9. Dive Deeper into Course Metrics

To gain individual course level metrics, click on the course you wish to dive deeper into. Here you can find all the learners who have enrolled with your course.

10. Use the Toggle Tab

Using the toggle tab, narrow down on your learners based on their activity, such as:

  • Course completions
  • Assessments taken
  • Certifications issued
  • Course reviews received

11. Capture Unique Active Learners

Capture the number of unique active learners and the top learners for each course.

12. Dive Deeper into Learner Metrics

Using the drop-down menu, you can dive deeper into individual learner level metrics. These sections will give you the metrics on time spent by your learners on the platform.

13. Retention Cohort Analysis

Our retention cohort analysis will give you a bird's-eye view of the number of signed up users and user activity over the time period you have set.

14. Track Individual Learner Metrics

You can track the individual learner metrics in the Learners tab. Using the drop-down menu, you can quickly access the learner groups that you have created and dive deeper into individual learner metrics in each of those groups.

15. Use Filters

Filters are a great way to segregate learners based on certain conditions, like:

  • Quiz attempts
  • Courses enrolled
  • Courses completed
  • And much more

16. Example of Using Filters

For example, I have 133 learners in TRAIN. I am filtering learners based on course completions. Now TRAIN has generated 51 learners who have completed courses. You can further filter learner data by adding more conditions to the existing filters.

17. Detailed Learner Metrics

For detailed learner metrics, click on the specific learner you wish to learn about. Here, I can find all the courses that the learner has enrolled in. Furthermore, the number of lessons completed. You can also gain insights into exam data such as number of assessment attempts and quiz attempts. Based on this, you can assign training resources if you feel they require additional resources.
