Presenting and Recording over PDFs

In this video, we will learn how to present your PDF and record over it. This feature can be used for subjective training, walking through pricing proposals, feature overviews, and much more.

Step 1: Accessing the Video Creation Page

Go to the video creation page and click on the "Present over PDF" option.

Step 2: Uploading Your PDF

Upload your PDF file. Once uploaded, you can view the file and navigate through its pages.

Step 3: Start Recording

Click on the "Start recording" button and begin navigating through your PDF while recording your presentation.

Step 4: Finish Recording

Once you are done, click on the "Finish recording" button. Your recording will be published as a video.

Step 5: Sharing the Video

Copy the share link provided and share it with your users.

Step 6: Editing the Video

If needed, you can edit the video by clicking on the "Edit" button. You will be redirected to the Zyng editor.

Step 7: Trimming and Splitting Clips

In the Zyng editor, find the recording clip in the Clips panel. You can easily trim and split it by clicking on the three dots icon in the pane. You can also add additional recordings by clicking on the plus icon. Your current audio recording mode will be preserved.

Step 8: Adding Zoom and Transitions

You can enhance your video by adding zoom and transitions to focus on specific areas of the PDF.

Step 9: Choosing Layouts

Under the Layouts tab, you can find different layout options for your video. Choose the one that suits your preferences.

Step 10: Setting Background

You can choose a solid color as the background or select from a set of templates provided by Trane. Alternatively, you can upload your own background.

Step 11: Customizing Borders

Under the Borders tab, you can set the border style and type to achieve the desired aesthetics.

Step 12: Adjusting Frame

Use the Adjust Frame option to easily reposition your frame by dragging and dropping. You can also crop the frame to be present in the video by selecting the desired area.

Step 13: Preview and Publish

Once you are satisfied with the video, preview it and then publish it.
