How to Create a Course for Your Training Academy in Train

In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to create a course for your training academy in Train.

Step 1: Access Course Builder

  1. Go to the Academy option in your dashboard.
  2. Select Course Builder.

Step 2: Build Your Course

  1. Add a course cover, which can be an image or a video.
  2. Add a course description to provide details to your learners.
  3. Add an internal name for differentiation.
  4. Control learner engagement with toggle options.
  5. Add author information.
  6. Save and publish the course.

Step 3: Create Chapters

  1. Create chapters that function as modules for training content.
  2. Add videos, articles, and guides to each chapter.
  3. Add assessments and tasks using dropdown options.

Step 4: Set Up Course Assessments

  1. Create quizzes manually or use Train's AI for question generation.
  2. Control quiz settings like attempts, duration, and pass percentage.
  3. Add tasks for offline activities or written work submissions.

Step 5: Set Up Certifications

  1. Select certification criteria based on assessments or course completion.
  2. Choose completion percentage for certification.
  3. Customize certification settings and signature.

Step 6: Course Presentation to Learners

  1. Learners need to enroll to access the course.
  2. Learners can provide feedback and create private notes.
  3. Easy navigation with a progress bar for completion tracking.

Step 7: Assign Courses to Learners

  1. Assign courses through the Learners tab.
  2. Create learner groups and assign courses based on roles.
  3. Individually assign courses to learners.

Step 8: Course Analytics

  1. Gain insights on learner engagement with Train's course analytics.
  2. View enrollments, completion rates, assessments taken, and certifications.
  3. Export analytics into CSV files for further analysis.
