Depending on your plan there are certain limits for **In-App Tutorials**, defined by the following:

- **Number of In-App Tutorials**
- **Number of Learners**

### **Number of In-App Tutorials**

This represents the number of **embeds** that are in an **active** state within your product.
An In-App Tutorial can exist in one of the following states:

- **Active:** Live and accessible to your end users.
- **Inactive:** Present within your product but deactivated.
- **Staging:** Configured within your application but not yet published for end users.

Your plan determines the **maximum number of active In-App Tutorials** you can have at any given time.

### **Number of Learners**

A **Learner** refers to a unique user who interacts with any of your In-App Tutorials within your application.

**Example:**
If 100 users log in to your app over a 30-day period and 30 of them interact with at least one In-App Tutorial, your learner count is **30**.

**Important:**
If your learner count exceeds the limit set by your plan, your tutorials will continue to display to users, but **analytics tracking will be paused** beyond the limit.

### **Plan-Specific Limits**

For the **Starter, Plus, Grow, and Business** plans (legacy monthly plans), your subscription currently includes:

- **3 In-App Tutorials**
- **250 Learners**

1. **Why are there limits on tutorials and learners?**

Trainn In-App Tutorials pricing is based on two factors: the total number of tutorials you create and the number of learners who view them each month. We've structured pricing this way because we incur infrastructure costs each time a video or guide is displayed to your users.

These limits ensure we can deliver optimal performance and reliability at each price point while keeping costs predictable for your business.

1. **How does In-App Tutorials compare to other solutions?**

Unlike traditional digital adoption platforms that charge based on your product's total Monthly Active Users (MAUs), Trainn only charges for users who actually engage with your training content. This means you're not paying for users who never interact with tutorials, your costs scale with actual training engagement rather than your entire user base, and you get better cost efficiency compared to other no-code embedding solutions.

This approach makes In-App Tutorials more accessible and cost-effective, especially for products with large user bases where only a subset requires training content.

1. **Where can I access my learner details?**

Learner details are available in the Learners tab within Trainn. This tab includes all learners from your LMS, knowledge hub, and privately shared content.

1. **What happens if I exceed my plan limits?**

Each plan includes a set number of In-App Tutorials and monthly learners. There are two types of limit scenarios:

***Exceeding In-App Tutorial limits:*** If your plan includes 20 active In-App Tutorials, you won't be able to create additional tutorials once you reach this limit.

***Exceeding learner limits****:* If your plan includes 500 learners per month and you exceed this count, analytics tracking will pause. Your In-App Tutorials will remain live and accessible to users, but learner data will stop being recorded until the next billing cycle.

1. **Where can I find my plan details?**
