How to Create a New Slide?

The Create Slide feature in Trainn allows you to add slides between video clips. This is especially helpful when you're transitioning between topics, introducing a new section, or want to break the flow with a clear visual separator.

Slides serve as static visual elements that help guide your viewer through the narrative of your training video, offering flexibility to deliver key messages with visual emphasis.

Steps

1. Click on Edit Video.

2. Click on the “+” icon below the clip where you want to add a slide.

3. Select “Create Slide” from the menu.

4. Choose from the two available slide templates.

Note: Each template can be customized to match your design and messaging needs. You can also set defaults for elements like template type (for Trainn introduction slides), background color, fill color, and font at the workspace level — ensuring all newly created videos follow a consistent style.

5. Customize the slide background, typography, text content and add a hero image to visually enhance your slide.

6. Once done, click “Save and use image” and it gets added as a clip within your clip timeline.

Note: You can reorder the clip as needed using the multiclip operations menu.

Limitations

• Currently, only two slide templates are available to choose from.

• Animations or transitions between slides and clips are not supported.
