Introducing the Trains Video Creator
The all-new Trains Video Creator is designed to speed up your video creation workflows. With a user-friendly interface and a range of features, it's never been easier to create instructional or walkthrough videos. Let's take a closer look at how you can use this tool to record your screen and create engaging videos.
Step 1: Getting Started
- Click on the Create Video option from the Create dropdown menu.
- On the record page, you'll find all the recording modes in one place.
Step 2: Recording Your Screen
- Select the Add Voice Later option if you want to add voiceovers during the editing process.
- Enable Spotlight and Zoom for automatic spotlight and zoom effects based on your interactions.
- Click on Share Screen and Record to start recording.
- Select the Chrome tab you want to record and start sharing.
- Navigate through the product workflow to capture the desired content.
- Click on Stop Sharing when you're done.
Step 3: Editing Your Video
Once you finish recording, you'll be directed to the video editing page. Editing your video is similar to editing a presentation.
- Each interaction made during the recording is automatically created as clips for easy editing.
- Spotlights and zooms are added based on your clicks and input actions.
- Train generates an introduction for your video.
- Use the three dots on each clip to edit it.
- Perform basic editing tasks like cloning and deleting clips.
- Perform multi-clip operations such as merging, adding voiceovers, reordering, and bulk deleting clips.
Step 4: Adding Audio to Your Video
You can add audio to your clips using three different modes: AI text-to-speech, voice recording, or uploading existing audio clips.
- Click on the Voice Settings option to change the AI voice settings.
- Choose from multiple languages and accents.
- Adjust voice styles, pitch, volume, and speed.
- Add the text for each clip and click on Generate Audio.
- Repeat the process for all the clips.
Step 5: Customizing Your Video
Trains offers various options to customize your video and make it visually appealing.
- Unwanted sections of the screen recording, such as page loaders and button loaders, are captured and automatically enhanced.
- Unlock and make changes or add audio to these sections if needed.
- Edit the introduction image, change the theme, and modify content and images easily.
- Use the Spotlight mode to turn on/off spotlight, drag, and resize it.
- Add annotations like text, rectangles, and arrows to highlight important information.
- Use Zoom Transitions to zoom into specific areas on the screen.
- Blur sensitive information by selecting the area and clicking on the Blur Selection option.
- Choose from different layout options for your video.
- Select a solid color or use pre-designed templates as background and borders.
- Perform advanced editing tasks like trimming, splitting, and timeline operations under Advanced Editing.
Step 6: Previewing and Publishing Your Video
Once you're satisfied with your video, you can preview and publish it.
- Share the video with your end users by generating links.
- Embed the video into your application or knowledge base.
- Export the video as images or PDF.
- Add call-to-actions, chapters, and modify auto-generated subtitles for the published video.
