Training Events in Academy

Trainn allows you to schedule and manage Training Events directly within your Academy. You can create landing pages for event registrations such as webinars or virtual instructor-led training programs. These events can be listed as quick links on your academy home page for easy learner registration to upcoming events.
Step 1: Access the Training Events Section
Click on Academy in the navigation bar.
Select Training Events from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Create a New Event
In the Training Events section, click Create Event.
Enter the event name click Update.
Enter a short summary in the Short Description field.
Type a detailed description in the Description field.
Select the appropriate time zone from the Time Zone drop-down menu.
Click the toggle switch to enable displaying the event in the Academy's Events tab.
Click the Save button in the top right corner to save your changes.
Step 3: Schedule a Training Session
In the navigation bar, click on Upcoming Sessions.
Click on Add Session to create a new session.
In the Settings section, click on the session date to schedule the training session.
Select a date from the calendar pop-up to set the session date.
Enter the session duration in minutes in the provided field.
Type the session URL where participants will join the virtual meeting.
Choose an instructor from the drop-down list to conduct the training session.
Set the maximum number of learners who can register for the session.
Click the Save button in the top right corner of the Settings page.
Step 4: Share the Event
Click the Copy Registration Link button.
Add the link in your marketing emails to share with your learners.
Event Visibility: Only if you enable "Display this event in Academy" will appear to your learners.
Reminders: Trainn will send automated reminders (as configured) before the event start time.
No Limit on Events: You can create unlimited Training Events.
Learner Access: Training Events are visible to all Academy learners.
Recordings Not Automatic: Events are not recorded by Trainn; if you want to share a recording, manually upload it later as a new lesson.
Onboarding new customers with live walkthroughs.
Hosting feature-specific webinars.
Running monthly Q&A or office hour sessions.
Announce events early to give learners time to register.
Use a clear, benefit-driven title and description.
Upload a relevant, high-quality cover image.
Share post-event recordings as on-demand lessons for future learners.
Run recurring Training Events (like monthly office hours) to maintain regular engagement.
