The library is the central hub for all videos, guides, articles created/uploaded into the workspace.
Access the Library
Click on the "Library" section in the left sidebar to access all files created in Trainn.
Navigate Between Library Types
Team Library: Click on "Team" under the Library section to find all content created for public access. Team members can access, edit, and view content based on their permission level.
Private Library: Click on the "Private" tab to access files created for private access only. These files cannot be accessed by other team members.
Understanding Content Organization
Content inside Trainn can be stored as independent files or within folders.
Each folder can host multiple subfolders, allowing for hierarchical organization.
A breadcrumb navigation shows your current path in a nested folder structure, allowing easy backtracking.
Create a New Folder
From your library, click the "Create" button in the top-right corner.
Choose "Create Folder" from the dropdown menu.
Enter a name for the folder in the modal that appears.
Click "Save Changes" to create the folder.
The folder will be created immediately. To access its contents, simply click on the folder.
Create Content Within a Folder
To create a video within a folder, first navigate into the desired folder, then click Create > Create Video.
Follow the same pattern for other content types (Guides, Articles, etc.)
Move Existing Content to a Folder
Navigate to the video you want to move, hover over the left corner of the video to find a checkbox. Select the item's checkbox in the library view.
Once the video is selected, click on "Move to..." to initiate moving the selected item.
In the modal that opens, select the destination folder.
Click on "Move" to finalize moving the item to the folder.
When navigating through nested folders, Trainn uses a breadcrumb navigation system that shows your current path. For example:
If you're in a folder structure like "Team > Knowledge Hub 101", the breadcrumb will display this hierarchy.
This allows you to see your current location and easily navigate back to parent folders by clicking on their names in the breadcrumb trail.
Within each folder, you can view, edit, and manage content based on your permissions.
Content is organized by type, name, modification date, owner, and status.
You can search for specific content using the search bar at the top of the page.
