How to Start and Reply to Guide Discussions in Train

In this video, we will learn how to start and reply to guide discussions in Train. Follow these steps to leave feedback effectively.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the Published Guide: Begin by opening the guide where you wish to leave feedback.

2. Navigate to the Desired Section: Go to the exact step or section you want to comment on.

3. Access Comments and Discussion: Click on "Comments and Discussion" from the guide player.

   • Comments are for learner-facing interactions.

   • Discussions are for internal team communications.

4. Leave Feedback: Click on the "Discussion" tab to provide feedback.

5. Start a New Discussion: Click "Start New Discussion" to initiate a conversation.

6. Type and Send Feedback: In the discussion area, type your concise feedback and hit "Send."

7. Notification and Reply: The guide owner will be notified and can reply to your comment, starting a thread.

8. Switch to Guide Mode: In the navigation bar, click the "Guide" button to switch to guide mode.

9. Locate Comments and Discussions: You'll find the "Comments and Discussions" option next to each step in guide mode.
