How to Create a Guide in Trainn

In this video, we will learn how to create a guide using Trainn. Follow these steps to create an effective guide:

Step 1: Start Creating a Guide

• Select Create, then choose Create Guide.

• You have the option to either record your screen to generate a step-by-step guide instantly or upload your product screenshots to create one manually.

Step 2: Choose Language

• Select your guide's language from the drop-down menu. Trainn supports more than 29 international languages.

Step 3: Record Your Screen

• When ready, share your Chrome tab and hit Record Screen.

• Navigate through your product as you normally would. Trainn will generate an interactive guide and an instructional guide.

Understanding the Guides

• Interactive Guide: A clickable product tour that provides hands-on learning. Each step includes a contextual prompt, guiding the user to click through to the next stage.

• Instructional Guide: A step-by-step product documentation created by Trainn. Trainn's AI automatically generates each step-by-step description, saving you time and effort.

Step 4: Edit Your Guide

• Go to the Edit Guide option to make changes.

• Edit the generated guide descriptions by adding new text or replacing the auto-generated content.

• Edit the guide screenshots as needed.

• Use the plus icon to add, record another step, or add steps from existing guide recordings. You can also add blank steps, tips, and information.

Step 5: Publish and Share Your Guide

• Once edits are complete, publish the guide.

• Share your guides in various ways, such as embedding them within your app or integrating them directly into your website.

• Easily export your guides as PDF, Markdown, or HTML.

• Share the guide as links by copying the shareable link.
