Trainn makes it easy to add subtitles and closed captions to your videos—improving accessibility, engagement, and viewer comprehension. Once your video is published, Trainn automatically generates subtitles based on the narration you’ve added. You can edit them and also add subtitles in multiple languages to suit your global audience.
Navigate to the published video page, and click on the Subtitles & CC option from the right side panel.
You’ll see subtitles aligned with each timestamp. Click on any text block to edit the wording, fix spelling, or improve clarity.
You can also adjust the timing if the subtitles appear too early or late.
In the Subtitle Editor, click the “+ Add” button.
Select the desired language from the list.
You can review and tweak the translation for better localization.
Note: You can edit the translation for each language individually.
Once, done. Click the Publish button.
Note: You can choose whether subtitles have to be hidden by default, automatically displayed on video load, or shown only when selected by the viewer.
Always review auto-generated subtitles to ensure accuracy and tone.
Use multi-language subtitles for training, product demos, or onboarding videos that target global teams or customers.
For silent viewing environments, ensure closed captions are enabled by default.
The accuracy of auto-translated subtitles varies by language and may need review by native speakers.
You need to have voiceovers in order to generate subtitles.
