In this video, we will learn how to edit guide images in Trainn. Follow these steps to enhance your guides effectively:
Click on Edit Guide to access the Guide Editor page.
To update a screenshot or replace an old step, navigate to the desired step.
Click Change Image and upload a new one.
Click on Edit Image to overlay objects onto the images.
Use the spotlight icon to highlight areas. Drag it over your target area and customize its size, border, and fill color.
Add context directly on the image with text boxes.
Use arrows to guide users' eyes naturally to what they should click or notice on the image.
Once done, click on Save Changes.
Blur Tool: Hide sensitive information by dragging over the area you want hidden and click on Save.
Zoom Feature: Draw attention to small details by picking your zoom level and position to apply.
Crop Tool: Cut out distractions by framing only the most relevant part of your screenshot.
If a step is no longer relevant, delete it to keep your guide clean and concise.
Save time with Clone Step, which includes all annotations, allowing you to quickly create similar instructions without redoing the work.
End your guide with a clear next step for your viewers.
Add a CTA button, give it a label, and link it to a webpage or action.
This process turns your guide from just informational to action-driven. And that's how you can edit guide images in Train to create tutorials that are not just informative, but engaging and interactive.
