Let's explore how each video transition works. Video transitions can enhance the flow of your presentation or video project. Here, we will look into three main types of transitions: Fade, Slide, and Wipe.

Accessing Transitions

First, navigate to the Transitions section in your video editing software. Here, you will find various transition options including Fade, Slide, and Wipe.

Types of Transitions

• Fade Transition: In the Fade transition, the clip dissolves gently into the next one. You have the option to choose whether to use the default fade or to fade to a specific color. This transition is ideal for creating a smooth and subtle change between clips.

• Slide Transition: The Slide transition feature allows your new clip to smoothly enter by moving the old clip aside. You can adjust the Direction settings to specify how this transition unfolds, providing a dynamic shift between scenes.

• Wipe Transition: Wipe works similarly to Slide, but in this transition, the clip reveals itself by moving in line across the screen. The Direction settings can be applied in the same way as the Slide transition, offering a clean and linear transition effect.

Customizing Transitions
