1. Which AI tools can I integrate Trainn with?
You can integrate Trainn with Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, and Cursor. To request support for another AI tool, contact support@trainn.co.
2. How do I connect Trainn to an AI assistant?
A Trainn workspace admin or owner must first enable the integration:
In Trainn, go to Integrations → Trainn MCP → Enable.
Copy the server URL: https://mcp.trainn.co/mcp.
In your AI assistant, add Trainn as a custom MCP connector using this URL.
Follow the sign-in prompts to connect your Trainn account.
The setup steps may vary depending on your AI assistant.
3. Why can’t I set up or connect to Trainn MCP?
Check the following:
Your AI subscription may not support custom MCP connectors. Some AI tools require a paid plan. Check your AI tool’s current documentation for availability.
Your organization may restrict custom connectors. Ask your IT team or workspace administrator to approve Trainn and register https://mcp.trainn.co/mcp if required. Once approved, eligible users can connect according to the AI tool’s setup process.
You may not have access to a paid Trainn workspace. To connect, you must have a user account with an assigned role in a paid Trainn workspace. Ask your Trainn admin to confirm your access. For additional user licenses, contact support@trainn.co.
4. Can I use Trainn MCP with a free AI tool subscription?
Yes, if your AI tool’s free plan supports custom MCP connectors. Availability and usage limits vary, so check the tool’s current documentation before setting up the connection.
You’ll still need an eligible user account in a paid Trainn workspace.
5. How do I start using Trainn MCP?
Once connected, explore the prompt idea bank for examples and common use cases. Try a prompt, adapt it to your needs, and build reusable prompts or skills as you become familiar with what Trainn MCP can do.
