How to Delete clip(s)?

Overview

The Delete Clips feature in Trainn helps you to remove unwanted clips from the video. You can easily eliminate outdated content, redundant interactions from the video to create more streamlined tutorials. 

Steps

In this guide, we will learn how to delete clips.

Delete a single clip

1. Select the clip you want to delete.

2. Click on the three-dot icon next to the clip.

3. Select Delete from the clip operations window.

4. A confirmation window will appear, click on Delete to confirm deleting the clip. 

Delete multiple clips

Let’s say, you want to delete clips 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 from the video:

1. Start by selecting clip 2 and click on the three-dot icon next to it.

2. Click Delete clips from the clips operations window

3. You will notice checkboxes will appear next to each clip, check the boxes for clips 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Quick tip: To delete multiple clips at once, select the checkbox for clip 2, then hold the Shift key while selecting the checkbox for clip 8. This will automatically select all clips between them.

4. Click on Delete at the top of the clip selection area to remove the clips from the video. 

Retrieve the deleted clips

Deleted clips are removed from your video track, but they are not permanently deleted. You can retrieve them anytime from your original screen recordings.
