How to create a GIF in Trainn?

Solution 

GIF is a compressed, looped animation created from a short video. Trainn allows you to create GIFs that are perfect for sharing quick demonstrations in emails, presentations, chat applications, or platforms where video embedding might be challenging.

Steps

Record a Video 

1. Create a video by recording the required workflow

Tip: Limit your recording to 2-3 interactions maximum for optimal GIF performance

2. After clips are generated, delete the unnecessary clips from the editor page 

Optimize for GIF Creation

Remember, GIFs are short videos that loop indefinitely. Hence, to ensure optimum GIF length, keep your videos under 10 seconds. We can do that by following the practices below:

3. Remove the Narrations from all the clips.

4. Modify Zoom transitions to 0.5s

5. Apply Spotlights to highlight the interactions 

6. Click Preview and Publish to review the clips 

7. Click Publish video
   

Export as GIF 

8. In the video published page, click Share and Export options

9. Navigate to the Export tab

10. Click Export next to the Export as GIF

Note: The Export as GIF option becomes available in the Export tab a few minutes after the video is published.
