What is Markdown?
Your Knowledge Hub pages are built for humans — navigation, video players, branding, layout. AI tools can't process all that cleanly, and they definitely can't watch your videos.
Markdown is a simple text format that strips away the design and keeps only the content. When we convert your pages to Markdown, AI gets exactly what it needs — the guide, the video transcript, the structure — without the noise.
What is .md?
.md is just the file extension for Markdown, like how .pdf means a PDF file and .docx means a Word document. When you see a URL ending in .md, it means you're accessing the Markdown version of that page.
In your Knowledge Hub, every page has two versions. The regular URL (e.g., help.trainn.co/collection/video-name) shows the full designed page with the video player, navigation, and branding. The .md URL (e.g., help.trainn.co/collection/video-name.md) shows the same content in clean, structured text that AI tools can read, including the full video voiceovers.

What is llms.txt?
llms.txt is a single file that sits at the root of your Knowledge Hub URL (e.g., http://help.trainn.co/llms.txt). It acts as a table of contents for AI tools — listing every video, guide, and article in your knowledge base with links to their .md versions. Instead of feeding AI tools one page at a time, you give them this one URL and they can discover and access your entire knowledge base automatically.
