How to Modify Video Pitch, Speed, Volume?

Trainn allows you to customize the tone and delivery of your AI-generated voiceovers using the Voice Modulation settings. This includes adjusting the pitch, volume, and speed of the narration to better match your brand personality, target audience, or specific video context.

Whether you are aiming for a more energetic tone, a slower and more instructional pace, or subtle changes in emphasis—these settings give you full control over how your content sounds.

Steps

  1. Navigate to any of the videos in your Trainn library where you want to modify the voiceover.

  2. On the right-side navigation panel, click Voice Settings.

  3. Scroll to find the Advanced Settings section.

  4. Use the Pitch slider to make the voice sound higher or deeper. Moving the slider to the right will increase the pitch, making the voice sound more upbeat. Moving it to the left will lower the pitch, giving it a calmer or more serious tone.

  5. Modify the Volume to ensure your voiceover is audible and balanced with background music or other audio elements. Increase or decrease the slider based on your audio mix.

  6. Use the Speed slider to control how fast or slow the voiceover is spoken. Slower speeds are ideal for instructional videos or detailed explanations. Faster speeds can be useful for quick overviews or summaries.

  7. Listen to the updated voiceover with the new modulation settings. Make additional tweaks as needed.

  8. Once you are satisfied with the voice modulation, click apply voice settings to all clips, so that the voiceover is consistent across the video.

Limitations

  • Voice modulations apply uniformly across the entire clip—they cannot be adjusted at a word or sentence level.

  • These settings are available only for AI-generated voiceovers. Uploaded audio files or human recordings do not support modulation.

Note: Extremely high or low pitch and speed settings may impact voice quality—use moderate values for the best results.

Voice modulation is not available for all voices; it is a feature limited to a specific set of voices.
