While Trainn automatically incorporates natural pauses in its AI voiceovers, you can enhance your narration by strategically adding custom pauses. These additional breaks create a more authentic speaking rhythm, allowing your audience to absorb information more effectively and keeping them engaged throughout your content.
Trainn gives you precise control over pause timing with a user-friendly slider that adjusts in 0.25-second increments.
Consider this narration script:
"In this video [Pause 1s], you will learn how to add voiceovers to your video."
When played back, the AI voice will complete the phrase "In this video," pause for a full second, and then continue with "you will learn how to add voiceovers to your video."
Steps:
Click on "Edit Video" at the right side of the screen. (If you've published your video)
In the left navigation bar, select the clip where you want to apply Pause.
Select "Voice Setting" .
In the text to speech editor window, place the cursor in between the words where you want the pause to reflect.
Now click add pause, and select the duration of the pause.
Click "Add" to apply Pause with the desired duration.
Note 📝 : You can also view the Pause duration as you move the slider.
Once paused is applied it will reflect in the text to speech editor window.
Once paused applied, click "Play icon" to preview the updated clip.
Tip 💡: Also consider adjusting the voiceover to ensure your narration flows naturally and doesnt sound disjointed.
